Ayodhya International Airport: The work of rejuvenation of Shri Ram’s city is going on at a fast pace. Changes are being seen day by day in Ayodhya. According to District Magistrate Nitish Kumar, all the works of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport are to be done in three phases.

Ayodhya International Airport: The work of rejuvenation of Shri Ram’s city is going on at a fast pace. Changes are being seen day by day in Ayodhya. According to District Magistrate Nitish Kumar, all the works of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport are to be done in three phases. For this, 100 percent work of land acquisition of total 821 acres included in the project has been completed. The runway work of Phase One of the airport has also been 100 percent completed.
Here, the work of CAT-1 and RESA facilities for landing at night and in fog has also been 100 percent completed. Similarly, the work of ATC tower is also complete. According to the District Magistrate, the obstacles to the operation of the airport have been removed. Before operation of the airport by Airport Authority of India aircraft, various components included in the Instrument Landing System (ILS) at the airport such as localizer, glide path, marker, D.M.E. etc. calibration has also been done.

The District Magistrate has inspected the under construction terminal building and under construction apron etc. During the inspection, Airport Authority officials informed that more than 78 percent of the work of the terminal building has been completed and the remaining work is being done at a fast pace in two shifts daily.

Along with this, he told that 100 percent work of parking facility for four aircrafts on one apron is complete and the work of parking facility for four aircrafts on the other apron is being done rapidly. The District Magistrate gave instructions to get all the work done at a fast pace by deploying maximum human resources and machinery in all the shifts and to complete all the work in the required time.

He said that there is a plan to start operation of the airport in this calendar year by meeting all the standards of airport operation. Vinod Kumar, Director of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, said that the flights from here will be started from the month of November before the consecration program of Ram Lalla in the grand Ram Temple.

In the first phase, there is a plan to start flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. After this, considering the influx of passengers and demand, flights will be started for other big cities. The construction of the first phase of Ayodhya airport will be completed by October next month.
