After a three-hour meeting of Trust officials on Saturday morning, Trust Secretary Champat Rai said, “Rs 900 crore has been spent on the construction of the temple from February 5, 2020 to March 31, 2023 and more than Rs 3000 crore is still pending with the Trust.” Are in the bank accounts of. The Trust appealed that citizens across the country should light five lamps in front of their homes at sunset on the day of the Pran Pratistha ceremony.
Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra had said a fortnight ago that about 10,000 dignitaries from across the country are expected to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, likely to be held on January 22, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rai said that photographs of Lord Ram will be distributed along with prasad to every visitor to Ram Janmabhoomi. He told that the target has been set that the picture of seated Lord Ram should reach 10 crore homes within two years. Rai said that from January 1 to January 15, Pujit Akshat (worshipped rice) will be distributed in 5 lakh villages of India. He said that an appeal will be made to Akshat to celebrate Ayodhya like festivals in the temples of different areas.

He told that before the consecration ceremony, rice will be worshiped in front of Lord Ram and the worshiped rice will be distributed all over India. He said that workers from 50 centers across India will take Akshat to various centres. He said that a religious committee has been formed for the consecration ceremony. Rai said that the temple will be completed in three phases and the final construction will be by January 2025.
