Museum of Hotel Ramkatha handed over to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust: Trustees of International Nehru Math Museum
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, operated under the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department, will manage the International Ramkatha Museum located on the banks of Saryu. For this, an MoU is going to be signed soon between the culture department and the pilgrimage area. Nripendra Mishra, Trustee of Pilgrimage Area and Chairman of the Building Construction Committee sent a letter to the Chief Secretary on August 12. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust is going to prepare a museum to give information about the history of the temple and the remains found in the excavation of the temple along with the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. In this, the memories of the sacrifices of the temple movement will also be cherished. This museum will be built on the lines of the International Nehru Museum in Delhi.

The Chief Secretary had sent the concerned letter to the Culture Department and expected appropriate action. Please tell that Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the building construction committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area, came to the meeting of the building construction committee in Ayodhya on 25 and 26 August.
Principal Secretary Culture Mukesh Meshram had also sent a copy of the letter sent to the Director, Culture Department, to the Chairman Tirth Kshetra.
In the letter, information about the conditions set by the Governor was given. Which it was told that the ownership of the museum and art gallery belongs to the Department of Culture and its management, maintenance, and allotment is with the department. With the Memorandum of Understanding, this responsibility will be given to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra for 15 years. This period will be extended again.

Includes Museum Auditorium
According to the letter from the Principal Secretary, the auditorium, office room, and library are also being transferred to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra along with the museum. Apart from its upkeep and maintenance, all kinds of payments including electricity bills will be done by the pilgrimage area. It was said that the department would have the right to use the auditorium of the museum free of cost as per the requirement. Also, the pilgrimage area will not make any changes in the nomenclature of the museum without the consent of the culture department. According to the letter, the pilgrimage area will not be given on lease to any third party without the permission of the government.

The museum will be prepared with the help of experts from the Nehru Museum
Hampat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that the experts of Nehru Museum have given some suggestions for this. On the basis of which the plan is being prepared. Soon the work of giving tangible shape will also be started. Purnima Kothari, sister of the Kothari brothers who sacrificed their lives in the Ram temple movement, met Sampat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Sunday. In order to convey the history of the sacrifices to the new generations, talks have been held regarding the inclusion of the history of the movement in the museum. On which the general secretary of the trust has given his consent. Poornima Kothari said I consider myself very fortunate that a grand Ram temple is being constructed in front of me. He said that even during the decision to build the Ram temple, he had met the Chief Minister and demanded that a museum should be built in this complex to know about the entire history of the 490-year-old Ram temple struggle. Which has been welcomed by the trust.

Mythological idols and relics related to Ram in the museum
The International Museum houses a pair of ancient idols or their remains associated with Lord Rama. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust will now also give more extensiveness to this museum so that the devotees coming to Ayodhya can see these mythological and historical relics.
