UP News: A 4.5-foot-high Shivling was brought to Ayodhya on a special chariot from Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh. The holy Shivling will be consecrated in the Shiva temple of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. The weight of Shivling made from a big rock of the Narmada river in Omkareshwar is more than 600 kg. Shivling was brought to Ayodhya on the letter of Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Champat Rai accepted the Shivling after the Rudrabhishek ritual and worship.

Omkareshwar’s Avdhoot Narmadanand Bapu said that Shivling is made in the lap of Mother Narmada. In Sanatan culture, every pebble of Narmada is Shankar and the Shivling that appeared from Narmada’s lap will come to Ayodhya and sit in the form of Awadhesh. According to Panchdev worship in Hindu culture, the deity resides in the middle. That’s why Lord Shri Ram will be in the middle and there will be four deities Surya, Ganesha, Maa Jagdamba, and Mahadev in all four directions. There will be a confluence of Dravidian and Arya culture. Former MP Ram Vilas Das Vedanti said that Lord Narmadeshwar is found everywhere in Narmada river.
