Light 21 lakh lamps on Deepotsav in Ayodhya this year: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

After inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for development projects totaling around two billion rupees aimed at Ayodhya’s growth, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh expressed during a public gathering that a goal should be established this year to illuminate 2.1 million lamps on the upcoming Deepotsav celebration in Ayodhya.

Ayodhya:

During a recent meeting, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of setting a goal to illuminate 2.1 million lamps for the upcoming Deepotsav in Ayodhya. He also highlighted that preparations should commence early for the seating of Lord Shri Ram in his temple next year, urging for proactive efforts to ensure it becomes a significant and memorable event.

After inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of development projects worth about two thousand crore rupees for the development of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said in a public meeting that this year a target should be set to light 21 lakh lamps on the occasion of Deepotsav in Ayodhya.

He said, ‘Preparations should be made from now on for lighting lamps in all the temples and ghats including Ram ji’s Paidi, Surajkund, Bharat Kund. Next year Lord Shri Ram is going to come to sit in his temple. Start working now to make this a big event.

It is noteworthy that 15.76 lakh lamps were lit during the Deepotsav in Ayodhya in October last year. This was recorded as a world record. The Chief Minister said that at present development works worth about Rs 32 thousand crores are being done in Ayodhya. So many projects are not running in any one city or district of the country.

He said that within the next four to six months, the roads of Ayodhya will look like Rajpath of Delhi, and the international airport here will also be ready this year. The Chief Minister said that this is the same Ayodhya whose name six years ago people used to hesitate in even taking its name, today various places including Surajkund, Guptarghat, Bharat Kupa are being developed here, which will make it the most beautiful city in the world.

He said that currently people may be facing problems due to the development work happening in Ayodhya, but to achieve any big goal one has to face initial difficulties and challenges, the people here will be rehabilitated. He also directed that on the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June, the MPs and other public representatives should join the program of Yoga Mahotsav at Ram Ji Ki Paidi, Bharatkund, Surajkund and various other places.
