Ram Mandir: While conducting the excavation at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, they unearthed over a dozen statues, stones, and pillars, some of which bore intricate engravings depicting various deities and divinities.

The construction work of Lord Ram’s temple is going on in Ayodhya. Meanwhile, some remains have been found in the excavation, which are said to be of an ancient temple. There are many statues and stones among these remains, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has shared their photos on his Twitter handle (X). This marks a unique occurrence as it is the very first instance where the image of the uncovered temple excavation remains has surfaced.

More than a dozen statues were found
In the process of excavating the temple, over twelve statues, stones, and pillars were unearthed, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship on these ancient artifacts. These stones bear intricate engravings of various deities, depicting sculptures of Gods and Goddesses. These remains found during the excavation will also be kept in the temple for the devotees to see.

The construction work of Ramlala temple is progressing rapidly. The first floor is almost ready. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it in January next year. The construction work will continue even after consecration. According to the people of the trust, the work on the first floor and second floor will be completed by December 2024.
