Ayodhya News: The international airport will be ready before the grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Ram in Ram’s city Ayodhya. With the commencement of operations of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, devotees from every corner of the world will be able to come to see Lord Ram.
Ayodhya: The city of Lord Shri Ram is at the center of the priorities of the Modi-Yogi government. Along with the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple, all the development works in Ayodhya are being completed at a fast pace. In order to ensure that the devotees coming here do not face any kind of problem, the construction work of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport is also going on at a fast pace. Air traffic services will start in Ayodhya by the month of December before the consecration program to be held in the grand Shri Ram temple in January. More than 85 percent construction work of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport has been completed.
Construction work going on in three phases
DM Nitish Kumar said that work is going on at a fast pace at the international airport. All the works of Phase One will be completed by December 2023 and operation of aircraft at the airport will be started in the same calendar year. He told that all the works of the airport are to be done in three phases. For this, 100 percent work of land acquisition of 821 acres included in the project has been completed and handed over to the Airport Authority. The work of the 2200 meter long and 45 meter wide runway of Phase-One of the airport is 100 percent complete. There are plans to extend the runway to 3750 m in future. For this also the work of land acquisition has also been completed.
All formalities completed
He said that the work of CAT-1 and RESA facilities for night landing and landing in fog and mist has also been 100 percent completed. The lighting work installed for landing of aircraft has been completed. 100% work of ATC tower has also been completed. According to the District Magistrate, the obstacles to the operation of the airport have been removed. Before operating the aircraft of Airports Authority of India, calibration of all the stages of various components included in the Instrument Landing System (ILS) like localizer, glide path, marker, DME etc. has also been done at the airport.

High level facilities will be available
According to DM, fire brigade vehicles have also arrived for the airport. The process of licensing for the operation of the airport is in progress, once completed, the operation of the airport will be started in this calendar year. Along with this, there will be a high level of transportation facility for the devotees to reach Ayodhya Dham. With the commencement of operations at Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, landing facilities for aircraft like Airbus A320 will be available at Ayodhya Dham airport.

A glimpse of the temple will be visible
Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport is being built in exactly the same way as Shri Ram Temple is being constructed. Even the same stones are being installed in it and similar carvings are being done. As soon as they land at the airport, passengers will not only feel the Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple but will also see its glimpse.
